Arrival & Departure:
Check-in time from 15:00 hours
Check-out time by 12:00 hours
Early Departures:
Should any guest wish to amend their departure date to a
date earlier than that which was reserved and confirmed
on arrival, they must do so 24 hours prior to their
planned departure. Failure to do so will incur a one
night early departure charge.
Cancellation
Any accommodation booking cancelled within 24 hours of
the confirmed reservation arrival date will incur a one
night cancellation charge.
Non-Arrivals
Should a guest fail to arrive at the hotel on their
confirmed reservation arrival date, they have till
midday the following day to arrive at the Hotel or
incur a one night non arrival charge.
Child Policy:
Cots are provided free of charge for children up to the
age of three years when sharing with a parent(s) or
guardian(s). For children aged between 3 and 12 years
old there is an extra bed supplement of £40 + Vat, per
night (please note that only rooms in our Deluxe room
category or higher can accommodate up to one extra bed).
Children up to 12 years of age will receive a 50%
discount on breakfast where it is not already included
in the accommodation rate. Regrettably, for persons
over the age of 12 years, no concessions or
discounts apply.
Pet Policy:
Pets are not permitted on the premises, with the exception of guide dogs.
Smoking Policy:
In accordance with Legislation that came into effect on 1st
July 2007, the hotel provides a 100% smoke free environment.
Should any guest(s) not respect this law and chose to smoke
within a bedroom, The Hempel reserves the right to charge a
room recovery fee of up to one nights' accommodation.
Party Policy:
The Hempel operates a zero tolerance policy with regard to
parties held within its bedrooms. In the interests of
ensuring all guests are able to enjoy a comfortable and
relaxing stay, the Hotel requests that all noise within
the room is kept to an acceptable minimum. Should this
request be ignored or more than four people are found to
be occupying a bedroom, guests may be asked to leave
prior to their intended departure date and consequently
incur a one night early departure charge.
The Hotel offers a number of Banqueting and Event
spaces that can easily cater for parties from 10 to
