The Royal Observatory Greenwich presents a free display of beautiful astronomy photos from around the world, located just moments from our central London accommodation. There are hundreds of entries for this year's competition, and some of best previous winners are also exhibited. |

EID in London- Muslin festival - 10th September to 12th September
Eid ul-Fitr is a Muslim festival marking the end of the month of Ramadan. There will be a celebration in Trafalgar Square with live music, a street bazaar, and exhibitions and displays about Islam. The event is free and open to everyone, both Muslim and non-Muslim. |

The Mayor's Thames festival in London -11th September to 12th September
Two days of free music and entertainment on the south bank of the Thames, between Westminster Bridge and Tower Bridge. The event starts at 12 noon and ends at about 10pm on each day. One of the highlights is the Night Carnival (Procession of Lights) on Sunday evening. From 9:45pm to 10pm there will be fireworks. |
